I was going to delete that previous post, but I’ll just leave it in. What’s wrong with experimenting eh? Especially wasting entire evenings, I love doing that! ;)
So as the title says, this isn’t my fault! I am trying to blog once a week, the idea being that I need to blog about something so I need to work on something or ideally finish something every week, however I’ve been out for a concealed 20 or 22 inch zip for this top I’m making and I can’t find one in the right colour. Here is proof that I am making something though!!
Here it is so far, it’s a peplum top but the peplum is asymmetric so its actually supposed to have the wonky hem.

From left to right, it is the right back piece, arm hole, front piece, arm hole and left back piece, for those who don't understand what they're looking at. The next part of the pattern is to add the zip so I’ve just pinned the back seam and shoulder seams to show you what it should look like.
The pattern is 6130 from Simplicity - http://www.simplicitynewlook.com/new-look-patterns/6130/ I made the trousers from that pattern with a pink linen last year for a holiday and had some linen left, won't be wearing them at the same time though, that's a bit 1990's.
I’ve also been knitting again, another baby’s cardigan. I’ve finished the back piece, front left and onto the front right.

This was part way through the left front:
There is no shaping on the back (its supposed to be that square) and only a little on the front. You can see the rib where the buttons will go on the above photo. I’ll post the pattern when I’ve finished it.
Bye for now,
